GETTING AROUND
As far as public transport is concerned, La Palmyre-Les Mathes is served by the Aunis-SaintOnge bus network
HEALTH
Two GPs practise in the district: one in Mathes, the other in Palmyre. The nearest chemist’s is in Palmyre. Nurses are on call both in Mathes (avenue de la Palmyre) and La Palmyre (Place d’Aquitaine). The nearest hospital is at Royan (18 km).
